Higher Secondary Examination 2022 Results has been published already . Some Students are finding work for continue their study. Many Students wants to complete their College Degree.  All Students Who wants to Higher Education but due to their Financial Condition  of their family, They could not complete their Higher Education. They can take a loan through West Bengal Credit Card Scheme.

About Students Credit Card Scheme :- 

The Honorable CM of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has launched the “Student Credit Card Scheme” on 30 June, 2021. Through This Scheme Students can get a loan of maximum Amount of Rs.10 lakh with interest rate of 4% simple interest per annum for their Higher Education. This Scheme is designed to support the students to pursue secondary, higher secondary, madrasah, undergraduate and post graduate studies including professional degree and other equivalent courses in any School, Madrasah, College, University and other affiliated institutes within and outside India. Students studying in various coaching institutions for appearing in different competitive examinations like Engineering, Medical, Law, IAS, IPS, WBCS etc., can also avail the loan under this scheme. 

Eligibility Criteria for  Students Credit Card Scheme:-

(a) The student should be an Indian and resident of West Bengal for the last 10 years.

(b) The upper age limit for the interested students has been kept as 40(forty) years at the time of applying for loan

Repayment: –

Repayment period shall be fifteen (15) years for any loan availed under this Credit Card including the Moratorium/ repayment holiday.

Required Documents for WBSCC: –

1. Colour Photograph of the applicant and  co-applicant / co-borrower (should be in .jpeg / .jpg format, between 50 KB and 20 KB)

2. Signature of the student & Co-borrower / Guardian’s signature (should be in .jpeg / .jpg, format,

between 50 KB and 10 KB)

3. Student’s AADHAR Card (should be in .pdf format, between 400 KB and 50 KB)

4. Student’s Class 10th Board registration certificate (if no AADHAR card) (should be in .pdf format between 400 KB and 50 KB)

5. Guardian’s Address Proof (should be in .pdf format between 400 KB and 50 KB)

6. Admission Receipt (should be in .pdf between 400 KB and 50 KB)

7. Student’s PAN Card / undertaking if there is no PAN Card (should be in .pdf format between 400 KB and 50 KB)

8. Guardian’s PAN Card / undertaking if there is no PAN Card (should be in .pdf format between 400 KB and 50 KB)

9. Relevant page of the brochure / document detaining course fee / tuition fee (should be in .pdf format between 400 KB and 50 KB)

How to Apply for Students Credit Card Scheme ?

1 ) Interested and Eligible Students Apply for Students Credit Card Scheme through official website of WBSCC

2) Then Click On Students Registration :- Select  a) For Institutions in India or b)  For Institutions Outside India 

3) Fill the form Carefully and Register.

4) Then Login after successful registration

5) Fill The form and Upload the Required Documents.
